Outfitter Satellite's service was outstanding, especially customer service. During our learning phase for the system, Outfitter Satellite's technical service quickly solved our problems after only 1 call. We never had occasion to call them again as we never encountered a problem. As the chief operator for the system, I highly recommend anyone considering a satellite system to use the BGAN from Outfitter Satellite. Clipperton Atoll is a very hostile environment, with temperatures during the day reaching 110 degrees and rainstorms that dumped 3 inches of rain in 20 minutes. No problems EVER with the BGAN through it all.

The Skipper 150 is based on the widely used Inmarsat satellite technology and makes it easy to talk, send/receive SMS, access e-mail or browse the internet.

With data speeds up to 150Kbps you can receive full color weather images, nav charts, or maintenance information. You can talk simultaneously while sending reports, regulatory information, requisitions, or browsing the internet.

The Skipper 150 also includes a GPS receiver and can output NMEA 0183 formatted messages to provide accurate location information to onboard systems.
