The new IsatPhone^PRO adds a low-cost handheld satellite phone to the legendary Inmarsat family of services with nearly global coverage excluding the polar caps. Capabilities of the IsatPhone^PRO include: voice, SMS texting, and 2400 bps data.* All of this is built into a very tough shell. The IsatPhone^PRO is one of the most durable satellite phones ever produced.

With about 8 hours of talk time, the IsatPhone^PRO has one of the longest talk time capabilities on a single charge of any satellite phone. The battery would provide 100 hours of standby service.

The IsatPhone^PRO is recommended for use inside the dashed gold circle. Outside of that circle the satellite is low on the horizon and a direct unobstructed view of the satellite with the phone's antenna pointed at the satellite may be required for use. Inside the gold circle, the IsatPhone^PRO can be used without concern for the position of the satellite with the antenna pointed straight up.
